Job Description
Outlast is transforming the recyclables trade through technology, connecting suppliers and buyers on its platform and providing enterprise account procurement, logistics, financing, and quality control. They are seeking an experienced Sales Manager to close partnerships with leading industrials to source recycled materials and contribute to a mission-driven company focused on environmental sustainability and financial success.
Requirements
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in the scrap industry required
- Deep familiarity with a wide variety of scrap grades required
- Scrap industry experience in the US Midwest, South, and East Coast is strongly preferred
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Entrepreneurial drive, discipline, and a willingness to learn
- Ability to perform under pressure and meet deadlines
- High comfort level with desktop software and mobile apps
- Self-starter with a “roll-up your sleeves” mentality and a bias for action
