Job Description
This Maintenance Supervisor role at Owens Corning's Aiken facility in South Carolina is focused on ensuring safe and efficient plant operation through proactive maintenance and reliability. The role involves leading a team of 24/7 technicians, supporting plant operations, and improving maintenance and reliability processes. Responsibilities include direct supervisory tasks, team leadership, and adherence to safety regulations.
Requirements
- 2-year technical degree; 4-year degree preferred (EE, EET, ME, or MET) or equivalent maintenance experience
- CMRP certification preferred
- 5 years industrial maintenance experience
- Working experience with TPM (Total Productive Maintenance)
- Fiberglass mat or paper manufacturing experience
- Contractor management experience
- Strong electrical, PLC, and controls knowledge
- Very high mechanical aptitude
- Experience with CMMS environment (SAP preferred)
- KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES: Maintenance knowledge, skills and abilities in electrical and mechanical disciplines.
- Maintenance planning and scheduling knowledge
- Maintenance metrics knowledge to monitor, optimize and drive continuous improvement
- Highly developed human relation skills to lead, direct, motivate and develop personnel.
- Effective communication skills
- Proficient computer skills
- Knowledge of proper systematic troubleshooting technics
