Job Description
Primary is seeking a Founding Engineer to architect and build PrimaryOS, a system of agents and tools to accelerate incubation and investing. This is a foundational role for someone eager to shape the technical core of a modern venture firm, working closely with investment partners, Labs, and Impact platform. The role offers significant ownership and the potential to develop into a CTO-level leadership position.
Requirements
- 3–5 years of experience in backend or full-stack engineering.
- Strong in Python with experience in LangChain, FastAPI, cloud infrastructure, and data pipelines.
- Independent and able to define technical architecture.
- System Thinker with an understanding of how different organizational parts connect.
- Must be based in New York City and able to work from the Primary office a minimum of three days a week.
