Job Description
The CNC Turning Machinist is responsible for operating CNC turning machines to manufacture precision metal products. This role involves reading blueprints, operating machines, performing maintenance, and ensuring accurate manufacturing. They will contribute to the Aerospace Industry by machining metallic and nonmetallic workpieces.
Requirements
- Read and interpret process plans/blueprints
- Utilize inspection instruments
- Complete paperwork including part identification & production logs
- Perform basic equipment maintenance
- Stand/reach a regular duration (8 hours)
- Walk, sit, stoop, kneel, crouch, or bend
- Lift/push/pull up to 10 lbs, occasionally 50 lbs
- Strong work ethic and understanding of safety procedures
