Job Description
Taylor’s Construction, Inc. is seeking skilled Fiber Splicers to perform splicing, testing, and troubleshooting of fiber optic cables for telecommunications construction projects. This field-based role requires precision, technical expertise, and a commitment to safety and quality. They excel in aerial and underground networks.
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in fiber optic splicing or telecommunications construction
- Knowledge of OTDRs, fusion splicers, cleavers, and related tools
- Ability to read and interpret splicing diagrams and engineering prints
- Strong troubleshooting skills and attention to detail
- Willingness to work outdoors in varied weather conditions
- Experience with single-mode and multi-mode fiber (preferred)
