Job Description
Taylor’s Construction is seeking skilled Fiber Splicers to perform splicing, testing, and troubleshooting of fiber optic cables for telecommunications construction projects. The role requires precision, technical expertise, and a commitment to safety and quality. They emphasize building communities and driving innovation in the communications and construction industries.
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in fiber optic splicing or telecommunications construction.
- Knowledge of OTDRs, fusion splicers, cleavers, and related tools.
- Ability to read and interpret splicing diagrams, route maps, and engineering prints.
- Strong troubleshooting skills and attention to detail.
- Willingness to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and travel to multiple job sites, preferred.
