Medical Laboratory Scientist/Medical Lab Technician (MLS/MLT)

The Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT)/Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS) will collect patient specimens, analyze results accurately, and report findings to healthcare providers. This role requires empathy and professionalism in patient interactions. The MLT/MLS will also oversee laboratory operations and contribute to laboratory leadership.

Requirements

• Associate of Science degree in Medical Laboratory Technology, or other programs that satisfy the certification requirements of the National Accrediting Agency of Clinical Laboratory Science or Department of Health and Human Services certificate as Medical Technologist (HEW) and High School Diploma
• Or, Bachelor’s degree with courses in biological and physical sciences, or a baccalaureate-level clinical laboratory education program accredited by the National Accrediting Agency of Clinical Laboratory Science, the Accrediting Bureau of Health Education Schools, an agency recognized by the United States Office of Education and Current certification as Medical Technologist (MT) or equivalent by a national board of registry ASCP
• Minimum of 1 year experience in a clinic or hospital laboratory
