Job Description
Relativity Space is building rockets to serve today's needs and tomorrow's breakthroughs, targeting commercial success with Terran R. They are seeking an Avionics Mechanical Design Engineer II to own the design, analysis, and test/validation of mechanical components within the Terran R avionics system, collaborating with other teams like propulsion and manufacturing. This is a unique opportunity to shape the fundamental avionics architecture and influence components that will fly.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2+ years of experience in a full cycle mechanical design engineering role
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, aerospace engineering, or related field
- Experience with 3D computer-aided design (CAD) software
- Experience with structural and thermal analysis
- Demonstrated project ownership and accountability with complex, multi-disciplinary technical projects
