Senior Components Engineer

Relativity Space is building rockets for space exploration and is seeking a Senior Components Engineer to contribute to the development of the Aeon R engine and Terran R launch vehicle. The role focuses on the design, analysis, and qualification of flow control devices, ensuring robust performance and reliability for the rocket's systems. Requirements

• Design and analysis of flow control devices (cryogenic, pneumatic, proportional, or solenoid valves)
• Detailed fluid, thermal, and structural analysis of piece parts and assemblies
• Development and qualification test planning and execution
• Engine and vehicle test support
• Trade studies
• Bachelor’s degree in relevant engineering discipline (Mechanical or related)
• 5+ years of professional engineering experience
