Job Description
Rocket Lab is seeking a Lead CNC Machinist to join the Fabrication Supervisor in Long Beach, CA. This role will involve leading and maintaining CNC equipment, leading a team of machinists, and collaborating with engineering teams to deliver high-quality rocket and satellite components. The position requires a commitment to on-shift work, including weekends.
Requirements
- 12+ years of professional machine shop experience
- Ability to set up jobs on both CNC Mills and Lathes
- Ability to edit CNC programs
- Experience machining wide variety of materials
- Experience leading a team in a fast-paced environment
