Latin Teacher

Rye Country Day School is seeking a full-time Upper School Latin Teacher beginning August 2026. The position involves teaching four sections of Upper School Latin, collaborating with colleagues to develop a dynamic curriculum, and participating in faculty and department meetings.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Classics required
• 3-5 years of experience teaching in an Upper School setting
• A well-developed sensitivity, knowledge, and understanding of the diverse backgrounds of community members
• Excellent oral, written, and organizational skills
