Job Description
City of District of Columbia, DC is seeking a Senior Structural Engineer to apply knowledge of materials, structural analysis, and design. The role involves working on power transmission modifications and upgrades, analyzing structural issues, and developing integrated designs. The position offers a hybrid work arrangement with three days a week in the office and two days remote.
Requirements
- BSCE or MSCE from an ABET Engineering Accreditation Commission-approved program
- 7+ years of experience as a practicing structural engineer
- Ability to communicate effectively with the client
- Experience in writing and providing support documentation for structural engineering calculations
