Planner II (Design Build)

The Planner II in Design Build is responsible for production engineering on new construction projects at Vancouver Shipyards. The role involves planning and performing analysis in support of program build strategy development, lean design and design for production development, and production process analysis.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree/Diploma in Engineering or Technical Certification in the steel trade or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 2-4 years' experience in planning, ship design, ship building or related trade experience in steel, in the manufacturing industry.
• Strong organizational skills, strong judgement, reasoning, and critical thinking skills, and strong time management skills.
