Privacy Counsel

Sierra is hiring a Privacy Counsel to build privacy compliance end-to-end and partner closely with product, engineering, and business teams. The role involves shaping privacy and data protection compliance globally, building and scaling Sierra's privacy program, and developing specific privacy expertise in core industries.

Requirements

• 3-5 years of legal experience, with at least 3 years of large law firm experience
• Strong working knowledge of global privacy regimes and data protection frameworks
• Ability to partner closely with technical teams to develop a deep understanding of Sierra's products
• Ability to translate complex legal requirements into clear, product-ready guidance
• Sound judgment, comfort with ambiguity, and a bias toward action in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication skills and the ability to partner with both legal and non-legal stakeholders
