Job Description
Strive Health is seeking a Director of Actuarial to oversee the management of risk contracts, pricing new opportunities, and analysis of performance. The role involves collaborating with various teams and communicating financial performance to leadership. This is a critical role in supporting the company's financial health and enhancing performance through value-based care initiatives.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Math, Actuarial Science, Finance, Economics, Statistics, Business, or a related field
- ASA / FSA Designation through the Society of Actuaries
- 8+ years’ experience in the healthcare industry
- 2+ years Advanced Excel, SQL, and financial modeling capabilities
- 6+ years direct experience in pricing, forecasting, IBNR / claims reserving or total cost of care analysis
- 3+ years’ experience leading an actuarial team
- Internet Connectivity - Min Speeds: 3.8Mbps/3.0Mbps (up/down): Latency <60 ms. Ability to travel and be onsite
