Director, Enterprise Data Architecture, Data Strategy

Sun Life is seeking a Director, Enterprise Data Architecture for data strategy. The role involves designing critical enterprise data strategy, guiding the evolution of enterprise data architecture, and shaping the design, implementation, and adoption of AI-ready data. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cloud-based data architecture, data governance, and ML/AI methodologies.

Requirements

• Strategic enterprise data architecture engagement skills with executive level stakeholders
• 3+ years with cloud-based data architecture in a modern AWS environment
• Approximately 15+ years of build/design experience related to data service design, building data architecture
• Defining and creating Semantic Layer, Ontologies and Knowledge Graphs
• Experience with technologies such as Kafka, Glue, Lambda, Redshift and/or Snowflake, and Informatica IICS
• Experience with data analytics and visualization using modern age tools
• Prior experience with MDM (Master Data Management), RDM, Data Modeling techniques, Data architecture patterns
