Senior Facultative Casualty Underwriter

We are seeking an ambitious Casualty Underwriter who is inspired to build a meaningful career at Swiss Re, bringing their skills, drive, and curiosity to grow within our Reinsurance Division and contribute to one of the world’s leading global reinsurance organizations.

Requirements

• Technical university degree, law preferred; or vast experience in (re-)insurance business.
• 12+ years of relevant underwriting experience, with strong, up-to-date knowledge of insurance and reinsurance products and market dynamics, or experience in a comparable reinsurance or broker role.
• Proven underwriting experience in Casualty and Financial Lines, including Motor and Personal Accident products.
• Established market network and client/broker relationships.
• Willingness to travel as required based on business needs.
• Ability to perform under pressure, adapt quickly, and step confidently outside of one’s comfort zone.
• Proven track record as a successful salesperson and deal maker.
• Strong team player with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Efficient, pragmatic, and execution-focused, with a consistent ability to deliver results.
