Job Description
Senior Client Underwriter P&C Re opportunity at Swiss Re in Kuala Lumpur, MY. Develop and maintain relationships with clients, analyse and underwrite treaty risks, manage cross functional teams to deliver solutions to meet client's growth aspirations.
Requirements
- Minimum 7-10 years of relevant insurance or reinsurance experience
- Strong treaty underwriting background
- Market knowledge & existing relationships with insurance companies in Malaysia and from other SEA markets
- Language skills: English (must), Proficiency in speaking Bahasa Melayu and/or Mandarin and/or Vietnamese will be an advantage
- Action orientated with 'hunger' to achieve great results
- Outgoing, confident with excellent social skills, written and verbal communication and presentation skills, marketing and negotiation skills
- Self-starter, problem solver, creative, entrepreneurial, persistent, determined, ability to learn quickly and think on one's feet
- Good network and markets knowledge within Asia
- Motivated and results oriented with an ability to work in a team (including coordinating various stakeholders and inspiring cross functional team) and ability to deliver under pressure
- Willingness to travel as required
