The role involves manufacturing aircraft furniture and wood-surfaced components using aircraft specifications and design drawings. This position requires adherence to safety, quality, detail, and productivity standards, alongside the assistance of more experienced technicians. Candidates will also be responsible for completing reports, and tracking materials.

Requirements

• Works under general supervision to fabricate furniture and other wood-surfaced subassemblies.
• Assembles, pins, and glue cabinet shells.
• Applies exterior surface materials such as laminates, veneers, and cap strips.
• Uses various types of stationary and hand-held power tools to fabricate or disassemble furniture.
• Complies with all safety, 5S, and housekeeping policies.
• Uses personal protective equipment to protect the aircraft interior.
• Works with lead and higher skilled technicians to develop process improvements.
• Read and write English.
