Job Description
This contract position involves fabricating and installing upholstery and carpet for aircraft interiors using engineering drawings and specifications. The role requires a willingness to work under minimal supervision, utilizing manual labor and basic problem-solving skills. A focus on process improvement and adhering to safety regulations is key.
Requirements
- Fabricate, installing upholstery, panels, and covers using designs and aircraft specifications.
- Utilize various sewing equipment, hand tools, power tools, and adhesives.
- Cut, surge, and install carpets, panel/window coverings, and metal parts.
- Work with lead technicians to improve processes, track material and sign-off work.
- Adhere to safety, 5S, and housekeeping protocols.
