The SRS Research Administrator II is responsible for coordinating administrative and financial details between Texas A&M University, researchers, sponsors, and administrative offices. The role involves reviewing and interpreting award terms and conditions, cost sharing requirements, award budget, sponsor regulations, and System policies.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree and two years of administrative experience in a higher education or business environment
- Excellent critical thinking and analytical capabilities with attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to apply problem-solving skills to complex problems, prioritize and manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
- Knowledge of word processing and spreadsheet applications
- Excellent verbal and written communication, organizational, interpersonal, proofreading and time management skills
