The Opportunity Alliance is seeking a Relief Residential Crisis Worker to join the Broadway Crossings team. As a Residential Crisis Worker, you will provide direct service to clients as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
Requirements
- High School Diploma with 5 years related experience required
- Must become certified as Mental Health Rehabilitation Technician 1 (MHRT1) within 1 year of employment
- At least one year of experience in mental health field preferred
- Technical literacy, knowledge of DSM-V, solid oral and written communication, strong organizational skills
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Flexible schedule is required
- Computer efficiency is a requirement
- Must be able to pass a criminal background, child protective service check & sex offender check
- Must not be on the state or federal suspension and disbarment list
- Must be able to pass pre-employment physical and TB screen
- Must be able to exert moderate physical effort with occasional standing, walking, reaching, stooping, bending, kneeling, crouching, typing and frequently lift and carry small children or material weighing up to 25 pounds
- Driving may be necessary to attend meetings and trainings and for the occasional need to meet with clients offsite and within the program service area
