The Opportunity Alliance is a Maine-based nonprofit dedicated to building healthier, safer, and more stable communities by delivering a full spectrum of services—from high-quality early childhood education and Head Start programs to comprehensive mental-health and substance-use treatment. Their work extends to crisis intervention, housing support, WIC nutrition assistance, and residential facilities, ensuring that residents have access to the basic needs and professional care they require. What sets the Alliance apart is its holistic, person-centered model that integrates family and community supports with advocacy and peer-led programs, such as foster grandparent and senior companion services. By fostering collaboration across sectors and prioritizing compassionate, evidence-based interventions, the Opportunity Alliance empowers individuals and families to thrive in Maine.
