Job Description
This role requires a Registered Nurse to provide mental health support within a crisis setting, managing patients with mental illness in accordance with college standards. The nurse will implement treatment plans, identify resources, and ensure patient safety through the Mental Health Act and other relevant legislation. The nurse must also facilitate patient participation in the program.
Requirements
- Current registration as a Registered Nurse in the Province of Ontario is required
- Clear understanding of the MHA and relevant legislation
- Experience as CPI and ASSIST
- Valid drivers’ license
- English level A- required
