TORQ COMMODITIES is seeking a motivated and analytical Coffee Trader to join their dynamic trading team. The role involves sourcing green coffee from European producers, managing inventory, building relationships with partners, and developing trade strategies. The ideal candidate will have a passion for the coffee industry and a keen understanding of market trends.

Requirements

• Source and purchase coffee from global producers, cooperatives, and exporters.
• Actively manage and optimize p&l of his/her own trading book.
• Identify and cultivate new business opportunities to expand our presence in the European coffee market.
• Build and maintain strong partnerships with green beans roasters and customers.
• Understand customer needs and liaise effectively with quality assurance and origin teams.
• Represent the company at industry events and trade exhibitions across Europe.
• Sell coffee to roasters, importers, and institutional clients in key markets.
• Negotiate contracts, pricing, terms, and quality specifications.
• Maintain strong relationships with producers, shipping agents, warehouses, and buyers.
• Oversee logistics, quality control, and documentation to ensure smooth delivery.
• Conduct market analysis to identify trends, pricing, and opportunities within the coffee sector.
• Build and maintain relationships with suppliers and buyers to optimize trading operations.
