Assistant Educator -Full Time & Casual Supply

Upper Canada Child Care is a non-profit licensed provider of child care services, operating 85+ centres in Toronto, York Region, and Simcoe County. We offer full-day and before and after school programs, summer camps, and a forest school. We are currently recruiting Assistant Educators to join our team in Keswick at the Prince of Peace CES location.

Requirements

• Recent Vulnerable Sector Check
• Health assessment and record of immunization
• Up-to-date certification in CPR-C and Standard First Aid
• Basic knowledge of the developmental needs of children
• Experience with inquiry/play based program design and implementation
• Ability to communicate effectively and establish relationships with families, coworkers, and other professionals
• Physical and emotional stamina to supervise children in various settings
• Ability to use computer systems and programs, including Dayforce and Storypark
