Job Description
UW Health is seeking a full-time Optician to provide comprehensive eye care services to patients of all ages, including dispensing contact lenses and performing repair and adjustment. Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Completion of an accredited Optician Vision Care Program (preferred)
- 1-year or more of work experience with processing insurance claims (preferred)
- Contact lens training or experience (preferred)
- Obtain ABO certification within 18 months (or 3 tests)
- American Board of Opticianry (ABO) Certification (preferred)
- American Board of Opticianry (ABO) Certification and/or National Contact Lens (NCLE) Certification (preferred)
