Optician

UW Health Eye Care Team is seeking a full-time Optician to provide comprehensive eye care to patients of all ages. The role involves selecting eyewear, dispensing contact lenses, repairing eye glasses, and educating patients on eye-wear care. Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Completion of an accredited Optician Vision Care Program (preferred)
• Computer skills
• Customer service or eye care experience (preferred)
• Experience with insurance claims (preferred)
• Optical lab training and/or optometric technician experience (preferred)
• Contact lens training or experience (preferred)
