Optician

UW Health is seeking a full-time Optician to provide comprehensive eye care to patients of all ages, including select I wear, repairs, and contact lens management. This role involves assisting patients, dispensing contact lenses, and educating them on proper eye care. Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Completion of an accredited Optician Vision Care Program (Preferred)
• Computer experience
• Experience in customer service or eye care (Preferred)
• 1 year or more of optician experience (Preferred)
• Optical lab training/technician experience (Preferred)
• Contact lens training/experience (Preferred)
• ABO Certification and/or NCLE Certification (Required)
