Job Description
Vedder Price's Miami Office is seeking a Corporate and Litigation Legal Secretary to provide support to attorneys and paralegals, prepare documents, manage travel arrangements, and handle client billing and inquiries.
Requirements
- Prepare and revise legal documents
- Assist attorneys with new client applications and conflict checks
- Enter attorney time into timekeeping system
- Work with Accounting Department to prepare client billings and receivables
- Make and manage travel arrangements
- Answer phone calls and respond to client inquiries
- Open, review, and route mail
- Provide assistance to other Legal Secretaries and Shareholders
- Establish and maintain client and administrative files
- Interact with departments within the Firm to facilitate legal support
- Prepare and submit expense reports
- Manage attorney calendars and schedule client meetings
