Job Description
Vero is seeking a Fiber Splicer to join their growing Outside Plant team. This position involves installing, splicing, and testing fiber optic cable to support high-speed internet services to residential customers. The role requires a strong understanding of industry safety standards, construction drawings, and network documentation. The position requires both field and occasional indoor work, including working in handholes, pedestals, and central offices.
Requirements
- 1-2 years of experience in fiber splicing (preferred)
- Proficiency with construction equipment and hand tools
- Valid Driver’s License and ability to pass an MVR screen
- High school diploma/GED
- Strong understanding of construction practices
- Authorized to work in the United States
