Job Description
The Manager, Application Engineering - GSA leads a team of GSA Applications Engineers responsible for assisting the Vertiv sales force with proper application of Vertiv 3-Phase AC Power products. The ideal candidate possesses deep understanding of 3-phase power data center equipment, strong leadership skills, and passion for developing early career engineers.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or related technical field
- 5+ years relevant experience in data center engineering and technical scope review
- Working knowledge of NEC in regard to installation of 3-phase UPS, PDU's, and RPP's
- Deep technical understanding of data center facilities and infrastructure
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Detail-oriented and responsive work
- Ability to work and multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to read, interpret, modify, and create schematics and one-line diagrams
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate and work successfully amongst various levels of the organization
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office
