Job Description
Victaulic is seeking a Category Manager for the Sourcing Department to lead negotiations and supplier management within the global supply base. This role focuses on strategic sourcing, cost optimization, quality control, and supplier relationship management. The Category Manager will develop and implement global sourcing strategies, benchmark processes, and build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Finance, Engineering, or Supply Chain Management
- Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience in Strategic Sourcing, Category Management, or equivalent
- Demonstrated knowledge of strategic sourcing process and tools
- Track record of delivering cost reduction and service level improvements
- Expertise in negotiation of long-term contracts
- Ability to identify key performance measures and evaluate alternatives
- Strong analytical problem-solving abilities
- Willingness to travel up to 25%
