Recovery Support Specialist

The Recovery Support Specialist supports the program by ensuring that quality direct care services are provided to the clients. The program is three-to-nine months long and helps support the residents with co-occurring conditions, such as mental health and chronic health conditions.

Requirements

• Act in accordance with Victory Programs, Inc.'s Standards of Excellence & Philosophy of Care at all times
• Provide quality, empathetic customer service to the clients in the program
• Ensure that when clients take medication, all policies and procedures are followed for assisting and monitoring the clients’ self-administration of medication
• Provide milieu coverage, including: maintaining and assessing the integrity of the program’s therapeutic milieu
• Input client/program data in Electronic Health Records
• Facilitate and/or co-facilitate client groups and complete required group facilitation documentation
• Provide referrals as needed
