Job Description
VITAS Home Health Aide (HHA) provides personal care and services to hospice patients to augment family caregivers. The role involves performing duties like hygiene assistance, meal preparation, and ambulation, under the supervision of a nurse. Employees must adhere to a written assignment and may also perform other related tasks.
Requirements
- High School graduate or equivalent
- Meets personnel qualifications of a Home Health Aide (42 C.F.R. Section 484.36 and 484.4)
- Documented evidence of 75 hours of training as specified in 42 C.F.R. Sections 484.36
- State Valid Medical and Skills Certificate
