Job Description
Wärtsilä is a world leader in marine technology, and we're looking for a Process Developer with expertise in Component Method Development (Machining) to join our team in Vaasa, Finland. As a Process Developer, you'll work on Component Machining and Method Development for existing and new products, and be part of an energetic Machining team with diverse expertise.
Requirements
- Minimum 5-year competence in working with component machining environment
- Excellent machining skills
- Good knowledge of machining cutting tools
- Good knowledge of GD&T (Dimensions, Tolerance)
- Good analysis and problem-solving skills
- Decision making ability
- Knowledge of advanced offline application for Machining programming (e.g. NX CAM or similar)
- Basic understanding of engine technology
- Fluency in Finnish and English, both written and verbal
