Senior Project Engineer

Overwatch is seeking a Project Engineer with strong MEP and commissioning experience to support the delivery of highly complex data center projects. In this role, you will be a key driver in the coordination, installation, and commissioning of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems from design through project turnover.

Requirements

• Coordinate MEP scope across contractors, vendors, and internal teams from design development through final commissioning
• Drive the commissioning schedule and process, ensuring all systems are tested and function according to design intent and client requirements
• Track MEP submittals, RFIs, and inspections to support seamless execution in the field
• Support issue resolution related to mechanical/electrical systems with a bias toward field-driven solutions
• Maintain accurate logs and documentation around equipment startup, system testing, and commissioning reports
• Liaise with commissioning agents and QA/QC teams to ensure system readiness and turnover milestones are met
• Monitor compliance with safety standards, specifications, and codes specific to MEP installations
• Collaborate with superintendents, subcontractors, and vendors to uphold schedule and quality milestones
• Support punch list development and resolution during final commissioning and closeout
