Job Description:
We are looking for a Customer Master Data Manager / Global Data Steward for one of the world's leading manufacturers of industrial vehicles and a provider of services and solutions for intralogistics.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implementation and improvement of processes related to data quality management, especially setting standards, guidelines and procedures on EMEA level for sales and service with regional Data Steward participation.
- Support the Global Data Owner in setting data access and security, and as a point of contact for regional data access requirements.
- Collect, develop, harmonize and align new requirements for the customer data object, as well as extensions, changes and improvements (such as changes to the data model, data quality rules, data management rules, etc.) by acting as a link between IT, data management and process teams, as well as business units on EMEA and global levels.
- Identify and build a network of experts for EMEA within business and IT teams.
- Data migration for the customer data object, by validating data extraction and transformation rules with regional subject matter experts, as well as monitoring data transfers to prevent information loss.
Requirements:
You have a degree in (technical) economics, e.g. in business informatics, industrial engineering or business administration or similar practical experience in a related field. Experience in the engineering industry is an advantage.
Strong knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite. Knowledge and practical experience with SAP systems, ideally R3 and S/4 HANA, particularly in relation to the customer data object, experience with SAP MDG is an advantage.
Strong affinity to data and understanding of the relationships between business processes and data flows across multiple IT systems and applications.
Strong communication skills both with technical and non-technical stakeholders on data-related topics at management and operational levels.
Ability to prioritize work efficiently and inform stakeholders about progress in a timely manner.
