Introduction
We are looking for a Equipment Master Data Manager / Global Data Steward for one of the world's leading manufacturers of industrial vehicles and a provider of services and solutions for intralogistics.
Your tasks
- Implementation and improvement of processes related to data quality management, in particular setting standards, guidelines and procedures on EMEA level for sales and service in collaboration with regional data stewards.
- Contribution to equipment data lifecycle management at KION Group and ITS EMEA sales and service level (data archiving and storage, retention and disposal), including the coordination of specific regional data classifications from regional data stewards.
- Support of the Global Data Owner in setting data access and security and as contact for coordination of regional data access requirements.
- Documentation of data-related processes, standards and changes for future reference, including metadata management, and ensuring transparency of data structure and usage on EMEA level.
- Training of other employees in data management, data governance and the importance of data maintenance.
Your profile
You have a degree in technical economics, e.g. in business informatics, industrial engineering or business administration or similar practical experience in a related field.
Experience in the engineering industry is an advantage.
Strong knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite.
Knowledge and practical experience with SAP systems, ideally R3 and S/4 HANA, in particular in connection with the customer data object, experience with SAP MDG is an advantage.
Strong affinity to data and understanding of the connections between business processes and data flows across multiple IT systems and applications.
Strong communication skills both with technical and non-technical stakeholders on data-related topics on management and operational level.
Ability to prioritize work efficiently and inform stakeholders about progress in good time.
