Marketing Development Specialist

We are seeking a Marketing Development Specialist to be responsible for Canadian market planning and promotion of Ophthalmic Devices and Refractive Surgical Ophthalmology product lines. The role involves working with global business sector Management and Marketing teams to provide market research and competitive intelligence information, and responding to local market conditions. The position reports to the Head of Marketing within the Medical Business Group.

Requirements

• BA or BS degree, preferably in marketing, engineering or life sciences
• Minimum of 3-5 years of successful experience in a marketing and/or sales position
• Experience in the medical device industry
• Experience bringing new products to market is highly preferred
• Knowledge and experience in the product development process preferred
