Job Description
Broward House is seeking a Facilities Manager to maintain their properties and ensure the smooth operation of facilities. The role involves supervision of maintenance staff, responding to work orders, implementing maintenance schedules, monitoring requests, and ensuring safety standards are met. The position also requires ensuring staff and vendor interactions, inventory management, and emergency response.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 2+ years of direct related experience
- Valid Florida Driver’s License and proof of insurance
- Electrical and flooring experience (2+ years)
- HVAC certification preferred
- Proficiency in standard power and hand tools
- Basic math skills
- Ability to read assembly instructions
- DEA/DMV screening required
- Must pass drug and background screening
