Job Description
Halcyon is a cybersecurity platform company focused on adaptive security solutions, specifically ransomware prevention. They are seeking an Account Executive for the North Central territory (IL, WI, MN, IA, NE, ND, SD) to build pipeline, close deals, and manage client relationships with government and education customers. The role requires a hunter mentality and experience with VAR/SI partnerships.
Requirements
- Proven success in SLED sales (state, local, and education)
- Hunter mentality: experience prospecting, breaking into new logos
- Strong executive presence and ability to engage with senior IT/security leaders
- Experience leveraging partners/procurement vehicles to close deals
- Familiarity with cybersecurity, SaaS, or enterprise tech solutions
- Strong forecasting discipline and comfort running a tight sales process
