Associate Director of Development – Parent and Family Philanthropy

Rice University is seeking an Associate Director of Development – Parent and Family Philanthropy to lead the execution and assessment of parent philanthropic programming. This role involves collaborating with senior leadership, drafting collateral, managing donors, and supporting annual giving initiatives. The ideal candidate will be a proactive and collaborative individual focused on securing significant gifts for Rice's schools and programs. They will work closely with internal teams to execute a parent strategy designed to increase funding from Greater Houston.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree
• 3 years of program management or equivalent experience
• 3 years of fundraising experience with a track record of soliciting, closing, and stewarding gifts.
• Valid Texas driver’s license and no past 36-month violations/accidents
• No DWI or DUI convictions/dispositions in the past 5 years.
• No convictions/deferred dispositions for driving while intoxicated (DWI) or Driving Under the Influence (DUI)
