Job Description
Welo Data is seeking bilingual language specialists to review machine-translated song lyrics from Spanish (Mexico) to English (US). This is a review-only role, not an editing or rewriting assignment. The role involves assessing the quality, accuracy, and naturalness of translations, providing feedback to improve automated translation systems. The position offers flexible scheduling and a chance to contribute to AI training.
Requirements
- Native-level or near-native proficiency in both English (US) to Spanish (Mexico)
- Strong understanding of linguistic nuances, idiomatic expressions, and cultural context in both languages
- Ability to focus on detail and maintain concentration over large volumes of content
- Previous experience in translation, localization, or linguistic quality evaluation (a plus)
- Familiarity with different music genres and lyrical styles (a plus)
